The objects of the Society are:
(a) To become and remain registered with the Guild.
(b) To further the interests of enrolled students.
(c) To assist new students with orientation to the University.
(d) To encourage and promote cooperation between the Society and other Student societies.
(e) To do all things that are necessary and proper for the benefit and advancement of the Society and the Guild.
(f) The outcomes we foresee include Curtin University’s access to Industry Professionals, who are passionate about sharing their invaluable wisdom on current and emerging trends within industry, such as AI integration, Digital Twins and global contexts. Guest speakers will interact with club members and open up opportunities for work experience or networking. It will be a safe space for newcomers to get informed with this foundational sector, and empower existing students to collaborate, find a tribe, and deepen their understanding of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management (LSCM) Major. Student facilitators including third year LSCM students and LSCM postgraduates will teach digital competencies in the end-to-end suites of Supply Chain Management to junior undergraduates within an environment that upholds Curtin’s core values of Integrity, Respect, Courage, Excellence, and Impact.
The key enabler to these outcomes will be effective communication, CSC will put great effort into digital and visual communication by conforming to Curtin’s effective communication strategies. Our club will use vibrant promotional material, relevant emails, and regular social media posts to engage our community and keep everyone involved with club events both face to face or online.
Note: No alteration, addition or amendment of the objectives outlined on this page shall be made without prior approval from the Curtin Student Guild in accordance with club governance policies.
